The installer cannot access the Registry Key.

PROBLEM:

The error is as follows: The installer cannot access the Registry Key. Please ensure that the installer has access to the registryand click retry to continue installation.

Registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Enum

Manufacturer: Microsoft

SOLUTION:

I've got this problem and HP ask me to press CRTL+SHIFT and CANCEL.

So the instalation keep going normally till the end.

This was a SP3 update and some machines with WXP Home could happens.
